Meet Stacey Cohen, LPC
Therapist & FlowState Coach
Neurodivergent Therapy for ADHD, Autism, and Highly Sensitive Adults | Burnout, Boundaries, and Nervous System Regulation
My work integrates trauma-informed care, person-centered and solution-focused therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), somatic practices, mindfulness, expressive arts, and nervous system regulation informed by polyvagal theory. I also incorporate practical tools to support executive functioning, burnout recovery, and sustainable change in daily life. I offer coaching worldwide and provide secure telehealth therapy for clients located in Georgia and Florida.
I specialize in working with neurodivergent adults, including ADHD, autism, and AuDHD, as well as highly sensitive individuals, empaths, LGBTQIA+ clients, and spiritually oriented adults seeking greater clarity, grounding, and meaningful change. Many of the people I work with are late-identified or late-diagnosed, often high-masking and experiencing burnout, overwhelm, or difficulty sustaining energy and focus. I approach neurodivergence through a nervous system and neurotype lens rather than a deficit-based model, supporting each person's strengths while addressing real-world challenges.
With over twenty-one years of experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor and more than thirty years as an artist, musician, expressive arts practitioner, and spiritual seeker, I bring a multidimensional approach that honors the mind, body, nervous system, creativity, and spirit as interconnected aspects of the human experience. My background as a visual artist, musician, facilitator, and student of expressive arts continues to inform a process that is both grounded and intuitive, practical and experiential.
In addition to therapy and coaching, I am the founder of The Center for Soulful Presence and creator of Music Iz Medicine, offering community programs, expressive arts experiences, soundscape journeys, and experiential learning opportunities that support creativity, connection, nervous system regulation, and personal growth.
Through emotional attunement, evidence-informed practices, and embodied awareness, I support clients in learning how to regulate their nervous systems, shift longstanding patterns, and build lives that feel more aligned, grounded, and sustainable. Our work is both experiential and practical, offering tools that can be integrated into everyday life.
I offer telehealth therapy for clients in Georgia and Florida and coaching for clients worldwide. If you are feeling overwhelmed, burned out, or ready for a different way of living, I invite you to reach out to explore working together.
